It is the client’s responsibility to print out the relevant visa medical form they require completing. We do not supply the visa medical form and will not be able to complete the appointment without this.
We require a copy of the visa medical form before the appointment. This is to check if any additional tests to the ones listed on our website, in both the product description and the country specific visa medical are required.
In the unlikely event that the form indicates that additional tests are required, which are not listed in the description, we will discuss the cost of the additional tests before your appointment.
When I submit my booking, your details will be passed to our imaging partner, Oryon Imaging, who will contact you separately to arrange your X ray appointment, if this is required as part of your specific visa medical. We recommend arranging your X ray appointment as soon as possible, to increase the chance of getting an x ray appointment slot that is similar in time to your visa medical appointment.
Cancellations within 48 hours - £30 deposit not refundable due to room booking costs.
Rescheduling within 24 hours - £30 deposit not refundable due to room booking costs.
Your data will be kept as well as records of the consultation for medicolegal purposes.
Our service does not include translating forms in to a different language.
Once done, the visa medical is not refundable, regardless of outcome.
In the unlikely event of the lab being unable to analyse blood tests, due to for example the blood test haemolysing, the relevant blood tests will be repeated for free by Compass Visa Medicals. Clients will be offered an appointment slot for this to be done.
Compass Visa Medicals will not be able to carry out appointments where there is limited communication possible between the doctor and client, including but not limited to a language barrier. If it is a possibility that a communication barrier due to language, or any other reason, will occur during the appointment, it is your responsibility to ensure you bring a translator with you to the appointment as if not, we will not be able to complete the appointment and will not provide a refund.
It is the responsibility of the client to submit their visa medical as part of their visa application.
Compass Visa Medicals cannot be held responsible for any fines, including but not limited to parking fines, incurred by the client.
Compass Visa Medicals does not work for any specific government embassy and therefore cannot guarantee any outcome of your overall visa application.
Compass Visa Medicals is not responsible for any costs incurred before, during or after the medical, including any further tests that any relevant governmental organisation or embassy states is required.
In the unlikely event that there is a doctor’s error on the visa medical form, Compass Visa Medicals will correct this for free. If this does occur, our liability is limited to correcting the original form. We cannot be held responsible for further costs or loss of income or any other form of loss that arise as a result of this.
In the unlikely event that there is a delay in receiving your blood results, x ray results or completed visa medical forms, our liability is limited to correcting the original form. We cannot be held responsible for further costs or loss of income or any other form of loss that arise as a result of this.
